| Ok, so I am not the most conscientious person! It's been forever since I have had time to do anything with this! Not much happening with us--we're getting ready to celebrate Kaitlin's 4th birthday. I can't believe it's been 4 years. It has passed so quickly. She seems so much older to me sometimes though. The only thing she mentioned she would like for her birthday are roller skates. "But only if Emmie can have some too." It was so thoughtful!
Looking forward to Spring Break! Won't be doing any traveling this year, but it will be nice to not have a schedule each day. I miss the days before school. There are days it seems I barely see Emily. Then when we are together she doesn't have much time for her old mom. Part of growing up I guess. She's always been so independent. Can you tell I am a mom? Seems like I only talk about the kiddies! They have more exciting lives than I do We're still plugging along with Torey's work schedule, I am just so thankful to have a paycheck each week. It's amazing the things you take for granted when things are good. It was also surprising to me the things that we thought were necessities that we could do without. Our life is much simpler now, which is a good thing! Got to get Emily off to school before Mikayla wakes up, so I am done for the next few months I guess! | | |
| Happy New Year Everyone! We are finally all well--for the moment anyway! The girls start back to school on Monday, so I'm sure that won't last for long! After a very nice Christmas break I'm kind of looking forward to getting my routine back. It's much more hectic around here with everyone home! Have a great week... | | |
| We celebrated Mikayla's 1st birthday on Sunday. She had such a fun time with her cupcake--once she figured out it was ok to dig right in! The day was made extra special because we were joined by our newest nephew, Riley Daniel and proud parents Hillary and Terry. The girls each got to hold their new cousin, which made their day! I'm looking forward to Christmas, and time spent with loved ones. I am trying very hard to keep the focus on the real reason for Christmas. Its more of a challenge now that Emily and Kaitlin are going to school. Everything is Santa, gifts, etc... Merry Christmas to all and God Bless! | | |
